Giants' Scott injured in car accident

NEW YORK -- New York Giants running back Charles Scott is in a hospital in Louisiana, recovering from an automobile accident.

Jonathan Perzley, Scott's agent, said the running back is getting better and did not suffer any career-threatening injuries in the accident, which occurred Wednesday night. Scott, 22, who is on the Giants' roster as a reserve/future player, is expected to be in the hospital for a few more days.
