Derek Jeter heading to Trenton

TAMPA, Fla. -- Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter has completed the Florida part of his rehabilitation for a strained right calf.

Jeter spent 30 minutes indoors at the Yankees' minor league complex on Friday. His final on-field session was canceled by rain.

The team captain is expected to start a two-game stint with Double-A Trenton Saturday night and rejoin the Yankees for a series in Cleveland on Monday. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman will be in town to watch his shortstop.
