Alex Rodriguez has meniscus tear

NEW YORK -- Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will seek a second opinion after an MRI revealed that he has a slight meniscus tear in his right knee.

Rodriguez is in Miami to meet with Dr. Lee Kaplan on Sunday afternoon. Results of the second opinion are expected to be available on Sunday evening, according to manager Joe Girardi.

An MRI on Friday revealed the slight tear. He is expected to decide on whether or not to have surgery following the meeting with Kaplan. ...
