HOF thoughts touch Gary Carter family

Gary Carter's daughter expressed appreciation for the warm thoughts flowing from Cooperstown during the weekend and predicted the Hall of Fame catcher would resume attending the induction ceremonies next year.

Carter skipped the festive weekend in which Roberto Alomar, Bert Blyleven and Pat Gillick were inducted in order to continue battling malignant brain tumors.
