'Disappointed' Isner ousted in quarters

American's loss to Murray a bittersweet end to his best U.S. Open showing yet

FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. -- John Isner was finding success at the net, which is where he positioned himself during the fourth-set tiebreak in his quarterfinal match against No. 4 Andy Murray.

The 6-foot-9 American had won all six tiebreaks so far at the U.S. Open, including three against Gilles Simon in the round of 16.
