Giants knew Jimmy Kennedy had issue

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin revealed Wednesday that the team was aware defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy might be suspended for using performance-enhancing drugs prior to signing him in August.

"We knew about it, we talked about it when he first came here, we were very much aware," Coughlin said during his Wednesday morning news conference prior to practice.
