Martin Brodeur day to day

NEWARK, N.J. -- New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur was characterized by coach Peter DeBoer as day to day after the 39-year-old was forced to leave Thursday night's 2-1 shootout victory over the Los Angeles Kings with upper body soreness.

Brodeur said he tweaked his right shoulder while making a diving save on Los Angeles defenseman Alec Martinez's point shot with 7:57 remaining in the first period.
