Rangers sign Anton Stralman

NEW YORK -- The Rangers have signed Anton Stralman to help fill in on an injury-hit defensive unit.

The 25-year-old Stralman, who has played in 212 NHL games, agreed to a one-year deal on Saturday worth $900,000. He had a training camp tryout with the New Jersey Devils but didn't earn a spot.
