Travis Outlaw has broken shooting hand

New Jersey Nets small forward Travis Outlaw has a broken right shooting hand and will be evaluated by the team's doctors this week, according to a statement from general manager Billy King.

The Nets have been pondering whether or not to waive Outlaw via the amnesty clause in order to rid themselves of the remaining four years and $28 million remaining on his contract in an effort to increase their cap space. He shot a career-worst 37.5 percent from the field last season after ...
