Coaches exchange words

NEW YORK -- The players were not the only ones involved in Monday's nasty series finale between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden.

A bloody and vicious line brawl erupted three seconds after the opening faceoff in the Rangers 4-2 playoff-clinching win against the Devils, but the war of words between coaches John Tortorella and Pete DeBoer raged on both before and after the game.
