Donnie Walsh can look elsewhere

The New York Knicks have given former president and current consultant Donnie Walsh permission to seek employment from other teams, Walsh's agent, Steve Kaufman, confirmed via email Friday.

Walsh is under contract working as a consultant for the Knicks. He served as president and general manager of the team from 2008-11.
