Martin Brodeur could test market

Will Martin Brodeur play for another NHL team?

The NHL's all-time winningest goalie has hired star agent Pat Brisson as unrestricted free agency beckons Sunday, and he remains without a new contract from the New Jersey Devils.

"He will be testing free agency if a deal is not in place by Sunday," Brisson told ESPN.com via email Friday.

Brodeur has played his entire NHL career with the Devils, but the club faces ownership uncertainty.
