Jets acquire OT Jeff Otah

Concerned about incumbent right tackle Wayne Hunter, the New York Jets tried to solidify the position Monday by trading for the injury-plagued Jeff Otah from the Carolina Panthers, the teams announced.

The Jets sent a conditional draft pick to the Panthers, who made Otah a first-round pick in 2008. A source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter the pick is a seventh-round selection.
