Mark Teixeira back for Yankees

NEW YORK -- New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira batted cleanup and went 1-for-4 on Friday night against the Seattle Mariners in his first game back after missing the previous two with inflammation in his left wrist.

"I felt pretty good," Teixeira said after the Yankees defeated the Mariners 6-3 at Yankee Stadium. "Like I told you guys a couple days ago, I didn't expect this to be a big issue, just a little soreness you gotta take care of, and I think that's where we are." ...
