MarShon Brooks has foot injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brooklyn Nets shooting guard MarShon Brooks will be out 7-10 days with right foot tendinitis, coach Avery Johnson said Thursday.

Brooks is wearing a walking boot for a few days and will be re-evaluated over the weekend. X-rays and an MRI on Brooks' foot were negative.

Johnson said Brooks' foot first began to bother him a day or two ago.

"We don't anticipate any long-term effects with this injury," Johnson said.
