Deron Williams to miss 2 practices

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams received an injection in his left ankle Friday and will miss two days of practice, the team announced.

The Nets said Williams has left ankle synovitis, an inflammation of the tissue, but it doesn't sound as if the injury is going to cause him to miss any games.
