Postponed Nets-Knicks rescheduled

NEW YORK -- The highly anticipated game between the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, postponed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, has been rescheduled for Nov. 26 at the $1 billion Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the NBA announced Thursday.

The game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET and be televised nationally on TNT.

The league wanted to go on with the game as scheduled Thursday, the season opener for both teams. But New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg recommended it be postponed.
