Lucas Duda suffered a fractured right wrist while moving furniture and underwent surgery Monday, the New York Mets announced. The team said Duda suffered the injury in his Southern California home.
He is expected to be ready for spring training, the Mets added.
Hand specialist Andrew Weiland performed the procedure at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
