Pedro Feliciano OK, awaits clearance

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- New York Mets left-handed reliever Pedro Feliciano has been diagnosed with a small "hole" in the exterior of his heart, the southpaw said Saturday morning upon returning to camp.

Feliciano said he feels fine, the issue is not life-threatening and surgery was not brought up as an option.

Feliciano, who said he had an irregular heartbeart, will wear a heart monitor for a few days. He has yet to be cleared to resume baseball activities.
