GM: Derek Jeter 2 weeks from return

TAMPA, Fla. -- The New York Yankees finally have a date for Derek Jeter's return to game action after he suffered a broken ankle in the American League Championship Series in October.

According to general manager Brian Cashman, Jeter should be ready to play by March 10, which would leave him 19 spring training games in which to get ready to play in the Yankees' season opener on April 1 against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium.
