GM: Darrelle Revis ahead of schedule

Cornerback Darrelle Revis is ahead of schedule in his recovery from knee surgery, according to the New York Jets, but his long-term prognosis with the team remains sketchy.

General manager John Idzik delivered the upbeat medical news Monday on a 30-minute call with season-ticket holders, who peppered him and coach Rex Ryan with questions about the team. The hottest topic was Revis, whom the Jets are dangling in trade talks, according to sources.
