Brad Richards out vs. Flyers

NEW YORK -- New York Rangers forward Brad Richards didn't play Tuesday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 32-year-old veteran center took a hit from Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta on Sunday night that sent him sprawling head-first into the boards in the Rangers' 3-2 shootout win. Kaleta was suspended five games for the play after a phone hearing with the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Monday.
