Eddie Jordan to coach Rutgers

Los Angeles Lakers assistant Eddie Jordan will sign a deal Friday to become the new head coach at Rutgers, he confirmed to ESPN senior college basketball writer Andy Katz.

Jordan will receive a five-year contract, a source told ESPN's Brett McMurphy. The Star-Ledger reported that Jordan's deal is worth more than $1 million per year.
