A-Rod lawyer: MLB short on evidence

BOSTON -- The lawyer for Alex Rodriguez alleged that Major League Baseball will not have enough proof to uphold the New York Yankees third baseman's 211-game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy because its star witness will not be around to testify.

A-Rod is appealing the ban.

"Where are they putting forth the evidence?" Joe Tacopina told ESPNNewYork.com on Saturday. "Anthony Bosch, who is either going to be in federal prison or is going to be in a federal investigation ...
