Jets' Jeremy Kerley has concussion

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley, who was cleared to return to Sunday's game after a blow to the head before halftime, was diagnosed Monday with a concussion, according to a team spokesman.

Kerley's helmet flew off on an eight-yard reception when he was sandwiched by a trio of Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Leonard Johnson, Dashon Goldson and Mark Barron. Barron was penalized for unnecessary roughness. On the previous series, Goldson was penalized for a similar hit ...
