Ryan Callahan a 'no-go' in opener

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Though New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan said his surgically repaired left shoulder "felt great" and "responded well" to contact in Sunday's practice, he is not expecting to play in the team's season opener against the Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.

"I think Thursday's a no-go," he told ESPNNewYork.com after Tuesday's practice.
