Amar'e Stoudemire out Sunday

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire will sit out of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, coach Mike Woodson said.

Stoudemire has had three knee surgeries over the last 12 months so the Knicks are taking a cautious approach with the six-time All Star.

He is playing on a minutes limit of 10 per game and will not play in both games of a back-to-back. Woodson hopes to alternate Stoudemire and veteran forward Kenyon Martin when the Knicks play back-to-back ...
