Andy Pettitte is 38, but he really is 39-and-a-half in postseason years. He is 19-9 with a 3.87 ERA in October and November, and has thrown 256 playoff innings.

Pettitte had one of his best first halves in 2010, but coped with a groin injury in the second half. While there was concern about his health coming into the playoffs, he pitched brilliantly in ALDS Game 2, giving up two runs over seven innings and picking up the victory.
