They said Earl Monroe and Walt Frazier couldn't co-exist. Boy were they were wrong. Acquired in a trade from Baltimore in 1971, "Pearl" played Bonnie to Frazier's "Clyde" in the "Rolls Royce Backcourt" that stylishly steered the Knicks to the '73 title.
