On June 17, 1977, at Fenway Park, the mercurial Martin was convinced Reggie hot-dogged a play in right field -- and sent Paul Blair running into the outfield to replace him. Though the manager and the slugger were kept from exchanging any blows in the dugout, their near-brawl is one of the signature moments of their longstanding feud -- and of the entire Bronx Zoo era.
