Speaking for the first time since his "we won the offseason" quote last month, Rex Ryan tells WGR 550 of his declaration, "I might not be the most articulate guy or anything else, so those things happen. All I meant was that we did so good, the players we had, I was proud of them, I was proud of the way they worked, I was proud of the effort they put in. And we'll see. I just think we want to show everybody that this is a good football team and we're working as hard as any team in this league."

Adam Jones, one of the players who helped author the end-of-game collapse in the Bengals' wild-card playoff loss to Pittsburgh, said today he's watched that entire game "about 10 times" this offseason. It's always tough to watch. Said Jones: "We kicked they ass the whole game ... And it hurt me to my heart that we let it go like that. But it's over with. It's in the past."
