Saints are signing LT Terron Armstead to a five-year extension, per ESPN's Josina Anderson. Makes perfect sense, since Armstead is arguably the second-best player on the team behind QB Drew Brees and was scheduled to be a free agent after this season. Sean Payton said last year he wouldn't trade him for any other LT in the league.

Andy Dalton met with reporters in Cincinnati today to give an update on the work his foundation has been doing. Since 2011, the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation has raised more than $1.1 million for seriously ill and physically challenged children and their families. On Saturday, the foundation is holding its first golf tournament. Several of his Bengals teammates are expected to attend.
