JETS 20, DOLPHINS 7 (halftime): Not surprisingly, the Dolphins got off to another slow start. The Jets jumped out to a 13-point lead behind strong running game and several key passing plays through the air. Miami is out of synch on offense and the defense is struggling with fundamentals such as tackling and sticking to receivers. Miami has trailed at halftime in every game this season.

There is nothing wrong with Jay Cutler's arm. Cutler had his customary velocity in pregame warmups. Cutler did not seem bothered by his hamstring injury when dropping back to pass. It remains to be seen how well he moves outside the pocket when pressured.

By my count, that is the third passing touchdown Dolphins safety Walt Aikens has allowed this season. The Jets lead, 20-7.

Last time the Jaguars faced Matt Hasselbeck as a starter was 2011. He threw for 350 yards and a TD with 2 INTs in a 23-17 Tennessee victory.

Hasselbeck back in a starting role

Matt Hasselbeck will start at QB for the Colts with Andrew Luck out. At age 40, he is the oldest QB to start since 41-year-old Brett Favre in 2010. Hasselbeck's last start was in Week 9 of 2012 while with the Titans.

The field in Washington looks OK -- mainly because it hasn't been chewed up yet. The sideline grass is another matter as it has been used by various media and officials. It's a little muddy.

After rain and clouds much of this week in Cincinnati, it's such a gorgeous Sunday morning. Chiefs starting to come out for some early pregame.

The Dolphins have fallen behind 13-0 (today), 27-0 (Week 3), 17-6 (Week 2) and 10-0 (Week 1) in the first halves this season.

There's no rain right now at FedEx Field for the Redskins-Eagles game but there are decent winds blowing inside the stadium -- it's windier inside the stadium than outside. The flags atop the stadium will straighten on occasion because of the winds.

Two Dolphins starters -- CB Brent Grimes and LB Jelani Jenkins -- are currently injured on defense.
