COWBOYS WIN, 7-6

It was the 97th regular-season meeting between the Cowboys and the Redskins, and never before had one of those meetings produced so few points. Dallas won Sunday's game, 7-6, breaking the lowest-combined-score record set in 2001, when the Cowboys took a 9-7 decision in a memorable confrontation on Monday Night Football after each team had entered that game with a record of 0-4.
