Sideline collision injures Louie Cioffi

BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns defensive backs coach Louie Cioffi will have surgery this week after he injured his leg in a sideline collision in the loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

Cioffi was hurt when linebacker Barkevious Mingo shoved Jets quarterback Geno Smith out of bounds at the end of a first-quarter scramble.

Smith rolled into Cioffi, and he injured his leg, coach Rob Chudzinski said.
