Jake Long will have surgery for ACL

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams' fears about the severity of left tackle Jake Long's knee injuries were confirmed, coach Jeff Fisher announced Monday.

Fisher said Long has a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee, an injury that will keep him out of the season finale against Seattle and require surgery.
