Andrew Cuomo to attend Super Bowl

NEW YORK -- New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (KWOH'-moh) will be attending the Super Bowl.

Friday's announcement comes a day after New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (dih BLAH'-zee-oh) said he won't be going to the game. New York is an official co-host with New Jersey.

Cuomo was offered a complimentary ticket by the NFL but is paying for it with campaign funds. It costs $2,000.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will also attend Sunday's game.
