Bengals release P Harris, sign Richardson

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday released punter Nick Harris and replaced him by signing veteran Kyle Richardson.

Terms of Richardson's deal were not disclosed.

The move reunites Richardson with coach Marvin Lewis from their days with the Baltimore Ravens. Richardson was the Ravens' punter from 1998-2001, when Lewis was the club's defensive coordinator.
