Giants LG Seubert breaks right leg

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey - New York Giants left guard Rich Seubert suffered a fractured right tibia in Sunday's 14-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Seubert was injured in the first quarter while blocking on a running play. The 6-5, 305-pounder had his leg immobilized and was taken off the field on a cart.

The Giants announced after the game that Seubert was taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. He was expected to undergo surgery sometime later Sunday.
