Jaguars linebacker arrested for aggravated assault, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville linebacker T.J. Slaughter was arrested and spent several hours in jail Monday after two men in a passing car told police the player pointed a gun at them.

Slaughter declined comment when approached at Jaguars headquarters. His agent, Michael Huyghue, released a statement saying the fourth-year veteran denied the allegations.
