Haynesworth agrees to $7.25 million tender with incentives

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on Albert Haynesworth's franchise tender, his agent Chad Speck confirmed Friday.

Haynesworth agreed to sign the tender that will pay him $7.25 million in exchange for a deal that that gives him a route to avoid a second franchise tag next year.

He and the Titans were unable to come to terms on a long-term deal by a July 15 league deadline.
