Browns clean house, cut six veterans

New Cleveland Browns coach Pat Shurmur made his first major step of the offseason Wednesday by cleaning house with veteran players. The Browns cut six veterans, which include tight end Robert Royal, offensive tackle John St. Clair, defensive linemen Shaun Rogers and Kenyon Coleman and linebackers David Bowens and Eric Barton. Most were considered favorites of former Browns head coach Eric Mangini.
