Bengals release Tank Johnson

The Cincinnati Bengals released veteran defensive tackle Tank Johnson on Tuesday.

A former second-round choice of the Chicago Bears in 2004, Johnson played three seasons in Chicago and two seasons for the Dallas Cowboys before playing with the Bengals for the past two seasons.
