Antonio Gates sits out practice
SAN DIEGO -- Strong safety Bob Sanders, who's missed more games than he's played since coming into the NFL in 2004, was put on season-ending injured reserve by the San Diego Chargers on Wednesday.
Sanders hurt a knee late in a game at New England in Week 2. He was inactive last Sunday against Kansas City. The Chargers signed him in the offseason after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts.
