Source: Chiefs extend Ryan Succop
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop can retire that "Mr. Irrelevant" nickname.
The 256th and final pick of the 2009 draft has signed a $14 million, five-year contract extension with Kansas City, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Succop can max it out at $14.675 million if he is voted to the Pro Bowl and the Chiefs make the playoffs every season.
