Ex-Lion Tommie Boyd gets prison
PONTIAC, Mich. -- Former Detroit Lions receiver Tommie Boyd has been sentenced to at least five years in prison for having sexual contact with a teenage girl.
The Oakland Press of Pontiac reports Boyd was sentenced Friday, a month after pleading no contest to two charges, including second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl at a movie theater in Oakland County. He had served as the girl's trainer in sports.
