Attorney wants verdicts thrown out
MINNEAPOLIS -- The attorney for the wife of former Minnesota Vikings player Joe Senser says his client didn't get a fair trial in a fatal hit-and-run.
Defense attorney Eric Nelson argues that the guilty verdicts against Amy Senser should be thrown out.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Nelson filed the motion on Friday. He argues there wasn't enough evidence to support the jury's verdict that Senser was guilty of criminal vehicular homicide.
