Source: Rodger Saffold sprains neck
DETROIT -- St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Rodger Saffold has movement in his arms and legs after being carted off the field with a neck injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.
A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Saffold has a sprained neck.
Saffold crumpled awkwardly after disengaging from Lions safety John Wendling on a long St. Louis pass. The Rams scored a touchdown on the play to take a 20-13 lead with 9:45 remaining.
