Eagles release LB Brian Rolle

The Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday cut linebacker Brian Rolle, who started 13 games last season, and signed linebacker Adrian Moten, whom the team had let go in the preseason.

The 5-foot-10, 240-pound Rolle, a sixth-round pick by the Eagles in 2011, had 53 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in his rookie season, appearing in all 16 games.
