Close games continue to be a prominent theme in 2012.

In one of the tightest NFL seasons in history, nine of the 11 Sunday games were decided by a touchdown or less.

What we learned is the Houston Texans, now 6-1 after blowing out the Baltimore Ravens 43-13, should end up with the AFC's No. 1 seed.

The Minnesota Vikings (5-2) are indeed a surprise team after a victory over the Arizona Cardinals, who still can't protect a quarterback.
